Authorities cancel advisory after finding Monroe County man

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Monroe County Sheriff's Department asked for help Tuesday to find a missing 84-year-old man with dementia.

Authorities canceled a silvery advisory at 8:07 p.m. Tuesday for Hansil Dean Hartle. The advisory was issued earlier in the day.

He left his home in the 39000 blockMonroe County Road 556 in Stoutsville at about 5 a.m. Tuesday, the advisory stated.

He was in a dark blue 2017 Ford Explorer with license plate No. RA3B8J. A license plate reader last detected the vehicle in Maplewood, Missouri, at about 2 p.m.
