JC School Board member announces reelection bid
JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
Jefferson City School Board Member Anne Bloemke-Warren announced her intent to run for reelection Wednesday on her Facebook page.
Candidates can officially begin filing to run next month. In the post, she wrote that her campaign plans to focus on teacher and staff retention, expanding mental health services for students and “oversee responsible use of district resources.”She was first elected in 2022.
Bloemke-Warren’s biography on the Jefferson City School District website says that she graduated from Mexico High School in 1997 and graduated from Columbia College years later, where she earned a bachelor of science degree in history and sociology.
Bloemke-Warren has lived in Jefferson City for more than 20 years and has previously been a member of the Jefferson City Chamber of Commerce Young Professional and is currently a member of the Historic City of Jefferson and the Eastside Business Association, her biography says.
Her bio says that she is a certified grant writer and manager at the Laboratory Grants Manager for the Missouri State Public Health Lab.
