Man found unresponsive after crash in Jefferson City

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man who was found unresponsive after a Tuesday afternoon crash in Jefferson City was brought to an area hospital, a crash report from the Jefferson City Police Department says.

The report says a rollover crash was reported to JCPD in the 1200 block of Highway 54/63 West. A caller allegedly told dispatchers that the driver was thrown from the vehicle as it overturned on the right side of the roadway, the report says.

First responders found the unresponsive man outside of a 2013 Chevrolet Tahoe, the report says. The man was brought to University Hospital by ambulance. JCPD is investigating the crash, the report says.

The Chevrolet had extensive damage, according to the report.
