North Columbia intersection blocked off after police find evidence of shots being fired
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Police closed off an intersection in north Columbia on Tuesday afternoon after police found evidence of shots being fired.
An ABC 17 News reporter saw four evidence markers down at the intersection of Rice Road and McKee Street. Police observed property damage and found shell casings..
Crime scene tape was placed in the area and came down around 5:40 p.m.
Four Columbia Police Department patrol vehicles were in the area. Suspect information was not provided.
CPD wrote in a Tuesday evening press release that witnesses saw "reported a large group of juveniles involved in a physical disturbance on McKee Street."
