Tracking the soon arrival of more November-like air
TODAY: Tuesday is sunny and mild, and after a warm and wet start to the week, will serve as a bit of a middle ground between that and a big cooldown ahead. Expect sunshine and highs near 60, with a wind from the southwest initially, but becoming more westerly later in the day. Winds will relax through the morning, but pick up again this evening as they become more westerly along a cold front. Winds through the day may gust as high as 20 mph.
TONIGHT: The cold front brings in a surge in cooler air and some clouds. Temperatures fall into the 30s overnight.
EXTENDED: Starting noticeably cooler, Wednesday is the first day in the more fall-like air mass. We expect highs to struggle to cross 50 degrees thanks in large part to the influx of cooler air, despite more sunshine. Highs then bounce around in the 40s Thursday through Saturday with mostly sunny to partly cloudy skies each day. The atmosphere will be drier, with no rain chance through the forecast, despite a slight warmup ino the 50s by early next week.
