SEC announces Mizzou, Arkansas kickoff time

KMIZ

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

On Monday, the Southeastern Conference announced that the 16th all-time meeting between the Mizzou football team and Arkansas will kickoff at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 30 at Faurot Field. The game will air on SEC Network.

This will mark just the second time since the annual rivalry series between the Tigers and the Razorbacks began that it will not be played on the Friday after Thanksgiving, as the first time that the two teams did not play on Black Friday was during the COVID-impacted 2020 campaign.

The Tigers and the rival Razorbacks first met up with each other back in 1906. Since then, MU holds an 11-4 advantage in series, which includes two bowl wins during the 2003 and 2008 seasons.

Head coach Eli Drinkwitz and company have won the last two matchups against Arkansas, including a 34-point routing in Fayetteville to conclude the 2023 regular season.

Before that game, Mizzou will hit the road for one last SEC road trip. The Tigers will face Mississippi State on Saturday, Nov. 23. Kickoff at Davis Wade Stadium is set for 3:15 p.m. CT.
