Tracking a sunny start to the weekend

TODAY: Highs in the lower 60s with mostly sunny skies. Winds out of the southwest could gust up to 20 mph.

TOMORROW: Cloud cover increases on Sunday with similar temperatures in the 60s. Showers track in from the southwest after sundown.

EXTENDED: Showers and storms are expected for the Monday morning commute with a second round of storms in the afternoon and evening. Many areas will pick up over an inch of rain by the end of the day. Temperatures remain warm in the 60s Monday and Tuesday ahead of a big late week cooldown. A cold rain moves in early Wednesday, dropping highs down to the 40s. Dry and chilly weather settles in through next weekend with highs in the 40s and lows below freezing.
