Missouri Democrats name Ashley Aune state House minority leader

Missouri Democrats have picked their leadership in the state House for the 2025 legislative session, a Thursday press release says.

Democrats announced that Rep. Ashley Aune, of Kansas City, will be the House minority leader. The release says that Rep. Marlon Anderson, of St. Louis, was picked as the assistant minority leader. Both were first elected to the House in 2020.

The release says that the party’s leadership includes:

  • Minority Caucus Whip: Rep. Aaron Crossley, of Independence
  • Minority Caucus Chair: Rep. Emily Weber, of Kansas City
  • Minority Caucus Vice-Chair: Kimberly-Ann Collins, of St. Louis
  • Minority Caucus Secretary: Rep. Eric Woods, of Kansas City
  • Minority Caucus Policy Chair: Rep. Bridget Walsh Moore, of St. Louis
