Tracking a dry Saturday ahead of rain tomorrow

TODAY: Temperatures will be a handful of degrees warmer today reaching near 70 despite some clouds. Rain chances have pushed late enough in the forecast to keep the evening dry until close to midnight.

TOMORROW: Sunday kicks off wet, with showers throughout the day and brief breaks in between. Temperatures reach 70 degrees as southerly winds push in warmth and moisture. By late evening, winds ramp up, and storms begin to produce heavy downpours and lightning.

EXTENDED: Monday also starts wet before a chance to clear up in the middle of the day. This could set us up for a round of strong storms Monday evening as a cold front tracks through the area. Storms could bring strong winds with an impressive wind setup. Showers and storms push east by Tuesday morning, with drier conditions into the second half of the week and highs back towards 60 degrees. Rainfall totals are between 3 and 4", with some local areas possibly receiving more.
