A California, Missouri, woman was charged Tuesday with five felonies after she allegedly shot her roommate in the leg and hand.

Crystal L. Moore, 50, was charged with first-degree domestic assault, armed criminal action, unlawful use of a weapon and two counts of drug possession for a shooting Tuesday at a California home.

Investigators say Moore got into an argument with her roommate and shot him in the leg and hand. Officers found him on the front porch, according to a probable cause statement. The man was taken to University Hospital for treatment and later released, the Moniteau County Sheriff's Office says in a news release.

Investigators found a .380-caliber Ruger pistol, cocaine and methamphetamine during their search of the home, the statement says. The victim allegedly told investigators that Moore had been doing cocaine and drinking whiskey before the argument and shooting.

The victim said the two had been in a relationship for about a year and living together for about two months, according to the statement.

Moore was in the Moniteau County Jail on Wednesday on a $100,000 cash-only bond.
