Tracking a seasonal and sunny weekend

TODAY: The weekend starts out perfectly seasonal, with temperatures in the 40s in the morning, warming to the mid-60s later this afternoon. Winds out of the east will be light most of the day, but a few gusts up to 20 mph are possible.

TOMORROW: Winds will begin turning out of the south on Sunday, and with more sunshine, highs jump back to around 70 degrees.

EXTENDED: High pressure keeps conditions mild and sunny this weekend but we'll already be warming tomorrow as the system heads east and southerly winds flow in. Winds out of the south ramp up through the middle of next week, with wind gusts up to 30 to 40 mph at times. Temperatures soar 15-20 degrees above average as a result, putting highs up to 80 degrees Monday through Wednesday. Rain is expected to bring a good cooldown just before Halloween as temperatures plummet back to the 60s.
