Camdenton man hurt and arrested after single-vehicle crash in Camden County early Saturday

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Camdenton man was seriously hurt and arrested after a crash in Camden County at around 1:30 a.m. Saturday, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report.

According to the report, the crash happened on US 54, one mile west of Rt. Y. Ronald Lowe, 28, of Camdenton was driving west on US 54 in a 2009 Chevrolet 1500 when he failed to navigate a curve, causing the truck to hit a median and flip over.

Lowe was thrown from the Chevrolet and sustained serious injuries. He was flown to University Hospital for treatment.

According to an arrest report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Lowe is charged with DWI being a persistent offender, failing to drive on the right half of the roadway, not wearing a seatbelt and driving while revoked.

The report states Lowe was not wearing a seatbelt. The Chevrolet was totaled.
