Mizzou Athletics releases guidelines to navigate Faurot Field renovations
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
On Monday, Mizzou Athletics announced that is has begun preliminary work on the Memorial Stadium Improvement Project. As a result, beginning on Saturday's homecoming game on Oct. 19, there will be new guidelines for how fans should enter Faurot Field on gamedays.
Parking lot B, which is located at the northeast corner of Memorial Stadium, will be closed for the rest of the 2024 season.
Mizzou Athletics recommends fans use the following gates for entry:
- Gates on the west side of the stadium (2W through 6W), if walking from parking lots C, D, G.. H, Q, R, T, U, Y or Truman's Landing.
- Gates on the east side of the stadium (2E through 6E), if walking from lots I, J, K, M, N, O, P or M-ADA
- Fans walking from Stadium Boulevard, who sit on the east side of the stadium, should avoid using the tunnel under Stadium Boulevard and cross the street at the intersection of Stadium and Mick Deaver Drive to enter Memorial Stadium via Gates 2E through 6E. This includes fans walking from lots L, W, X, B-ADA, TAPS, PS7 and any other campus or downtown locations.
Mizzou said that the Tiger Team Store will stay open through the 2024 season, however, the ticket office, located in the northeast corner of the stadium, will not be open on game days. Instead, ticket resolution will be located on the east and west sides of Memorial Stadium.
