Tracking hot temperatures peaking this weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: Summer-like with highs in the mid-80s and lots of sunshine.

TONIGHT: Clouds begin to fill in overnight keeping lows milder in the upper 50s.

EXTENDED: Saturday will feel the worst of the heat with highs flirting with the 90-degree mark. Clouds and a breeze help out, and a big cooldown is set for early next week. A dry cold front will bring the coldest air of the season with lows next week potentially cold enough for frost on Tuesday or Wednesday mornings.
