Tracking a dry spell that lingers along with a few warm days
TODAY: Monday is a sunny and dry day, not unlike the week before or the week to come. This extended dry spell comes with near normal temperatures today, in the low 70s.
TONIGHT: A few fair weather clouds may develop tonight, but expect dry conditions.
EXTENDED: With clear and calm conditions, expect temperatures in the mid-40s Tuesday morning. With dry air, fog will be unlikely, with the exception of steam fog near bodies of water early Tuesday. We'll have variable winds until they shift from the south Tuesday afternoon, keeping us in the mid-70s. Wednesday through Saturday, more southerly flow will contribute to warmer temperatures which are likely in the low-to-mid 80s. The warmest day looks like Saturday, ahead of another weekend cold front that leaves us cooler Sunday.
