Tracking warmer temperatures and sunshine before a late weekend cool down

TODAY: Thursday is warmer, more summer like as highs reach into the 80s. Humidity is higher as well, but largely not an issue, as dew points only reach into the 50s. Clear skies are forecast.

TONIGHT: Skies remain clear, and winds from the south. Temperatures fall into the upper 50s through sunrise.

EXTENDED: A cold front arrives midday Friday, keeping temperatures slightly cooler, likely still near 80. We aren't dramatically cooler as the front stalls over the region, and doesn't allow for cooler air to inundate the region. We will have another chance for a cooldown after we rebound into the mid 80s Saturday. Sunday's cold front will likely be more potent, dropping temps into the 40s each morning, and 70s each afternoon early next week. No rain is forecast.
