Russellville man seriously injured in motorcycle crash

RUSSELLVILLE, Mo. (KMIZ)

A Russellville man was hurt after a crash on Monday afternoon in Cole County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the crash happened on Payne Road, north of Route A in Russellville at 3:35 p.m. on Monday.

Troopers said James Ogden, 63, of Russellville was driving his 2005 Harley Davidson Electraglide when a 16-year-old failed to maintain the right half of the road and hit Odgen.

The crash report says Ogden was not wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

According to the report, he was taken to University Hospital by ambulance and the juvenile was not hurt.

MU Health Care said on Tuesday morning Ogden was in critical condition.
