JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)
A Stover resident was charged on Wednesday after they were accused of Medicaid fraud.
Constance Redinger was charged in Cole County with two counts of violations involving health care payments and one count of stealing more than $750. A criminal summons was issued on Thursday and a hearing was set for 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31.
Court documents say Redinger was a personal care attendant and logged work hours while both clients were incarcerated between Jan. 30-Feb. 8, 2023. An audit apparently showed that Constance was logging work hours between May 25, 2022-Jan. 1, 2023, while they were five miles away from the clients.
