Stephens College prepares for AMC showdown with William Woods
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Stephens College (4-11) is set to meet William Woods (10-8) on the volleyball court on Thursday night to close out its five-game homestand. The Stars are seeking a 2-0 start to AMC play while the Owls are striving to claim their first conference win of the season.

Following a slow start to the season, Maggie Hans has led her team to victories in two of its last three games, including Stephens College's 3-1 win over Cottey College in its AMC opener its last time out.
On the opposite side of the net, William Woods has also enjoyed some recent success, winning six of its last eight games. However, Kandace Cook's crew will be aiming to bounce back on Thursday night after a 3-1 loss to No. 25 Columbia College to open their conference schedule.
The game is slated to begin at 6 p.m. at Silverthorne Arena.
