Tracking more rain Monday and the return of fall-like air
TODAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms through the day Monday will keep us wet and cloudy all day. Temperatures are likely to be held in the 60s all day thanks to this. A widespread quarter of an inch to an inch could come today, with locally up to two or more inches thanks to thunderstorms.
TONIGHT: Thunderstorms will wane in favor of showers overnight, but rain will continue. Temperatures remain steady, near 60 to upper 50s through early Tuesday morning.
EXTENDED: Rain will be less widespread by Tuesday morning, as the area of low pressure translates east. Still, we expect wrap-around clouds and showers to swing in on the back side of this system to keep us cool on Tuesday. We might get to 70 Tuesday afternoon, but that's it. We'll dry up and warm up, but it's still a fall-like forecast through the weekend, with highs in the 70s each day. Rain chances return Friday, peak Saturday, and continue into Sunday.
