Moberly police: Two arrested after person was held against their will Friday afternoon

MOBERLY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A man and woman were arrested after someone was allegedly held against their will in Moberly Friday afternoon, Moberly police said.

According to a press release from the department, police received a call at 1:30 p.m. Friday regarding a family member being held against their will. Police and the North Missouri Drug Task Force investigated and determined where the victim was located.

Moberly SWAT and the North Missouri Drug Task Force rescued the victim.

The release states a 37-year-old man and 27-year-old woman were arrested.

Moberly police detectives found evidence at a residence after executing a search warrant, according to the release.
