Phoenix, Az. woman dies in Miller County crash, one man arrested

A Pheonix, Az. woman died in a crash that occurred early Sunday morning in Miller County and a man was arrested, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report and an arrest report.

According to the crash report the driver, Khalil Manygoats, 26, of Pheonix and passenger Larose Spencer, 35, of Pheonix riding on a 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Superglide on MO 242 south of Route MM at around 12:20 Sunday morning.

The two were traveling east when the motorcycle went off the left side of the road, hit the median and flipped over, throwing Spencer from the bike. The motorcycle went back onto the road, went across the center line and hit a curb, according to the report.

Spencer was pronounced dead at the scene. Manygoats suffered moderate injuries and was taken to Lake Regional Hospital by ambulance, the report states.

Manygoats was arrested following the crash. According to a highway patrol arrest report, Manygoats was charged with a DWI causing the death of another, felony possession of a controlled substance, careless and imprudent driving and driving while his license was suspended or revoked. He was taken to the Miller County jail and put on a 24-hour hold, the report states.
