QUESTION OF THE DAY: Is your lawn suffering from the dry conditions in Mid-Missouri?
Drought is starting to creep back into Mid-Missouri.
The area has seen an exceptionally dry late summer. The latest U.S. Drought Monitor was released Thursday and showed that abnormally dry conditions and moderate drought are back in the area. That's after dryness had stayed away for most of the summer.
The effects can be seen on lawns around the area. On the plus side, the grass doesn't need mowing as often.
