Missing elderly woman in Hickory County found safe

UPDATE: Kathryn Roberts was found safe, the patrol said a little before 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

ORIGINAL: The Hickory County Sheriff's Department is asking for the public's help finding a 74-year-old woman who went missing Tuesday.

Kathryn Roberts was last seen at about 10 a.m. Tuesday, according to an Endangered Silver Alert distributed by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Roberts is white, about 5 feet, 6 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. She has gray hair and hazel eyes and was wearing either a flowered nightgown or a green shirt with apple print and red pants.

Roberts suffers from diabetes and dementia.

She left in a gray Jeep with Missouri plate 1HT06 from an address in Weaubleau. She had a small poodle with her, the advisory states.
