Auxvasse man dies in motorcycle crash in Callaway County
CALLAWAY COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ) -
An Auxvasse man is dead after crashing his motorcycle on Interstate 70 Saturday evening.
According to a crash report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, James Moore, 66 was riding his motorcycle on I-70 Westbound at the 154 mile marker at 4:45 p.m. The report states the crash occurred when the motorcycle started to skid for unknown reasons.
According to the report, Moore's motorcycle went off the right side of the road and hit a ditch, ejecting him from the motorcycle.
Moore was pronounced dead on scene.
The patrol's Troop F posted on X that it was investigating a crash on westbound I-70 at the 154 mile marker. That marker is just west of the Route AZ overpass.
