PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) — A small plane carrying two people crashed into a row of townhouses Saturday morning near Portland. The crash set several homes ablaze. Authorities told KATU-TV that three people were dead following the crash, which occurred in a residential area of Fairview. That is about a 30-minute drive east of Portland. Gresham Fire Chief Scott Lewis says up to six families were displaced by the fire. Photos and video from KGW-TV in Portland show one of the townhouses engulfed in flames while black smoke pours out of the adjoining units.
