Tracking isolated storms before a dry rest of the weekend

Today: A few isolated showers and storms remain but looking to push to the southeast towards I-44. Moderate downpours and lightening become the primary threats with a flare-up of these storms possible this afternoon remaining mostly south of the I-44 corridor. Highs rise into the lower 80s with clearing sky conditions this afternoon.

TONIGHT: Skies look to become mostly clear with lows into the lower 60s as winds switch out of the north at 5-10 mph.

EXTENDED: Sunday through the first half of the week remain mostly sunny with highs slowly cooling after Sunday into the mid to upper 70s. Wednesday sees highs approaching into the lower 80s before scattered showers and storms arrive Thursday and Friday.
