A major expansion is coming to Camdenton Memorial-Lake Regional Airport.

The City of Camdenton announced in a Tuesday press release that a construction project will add 20 new hangars to the airport.

The first nine hangers are expected to be completed by early 2025, the release says.

“We are incredibly excited to unveil these new hangars,” Camdenton City Administrator Jeff Hooker, said in the release. “This expansion is a testament to our commitment to meeting the needs of our growing aviation community and supporting regional development. These facilities will provide state-of-the-art storage which is essential for both local businesses and private aircraft owners.”

The release says the expansion is part of a broader initiative to enhance the airport’s infrastructure and services.
