Tracking rain and a warmup
TODAY: Friday is noticeably warmer thanks to the return of south wind. Expect highs in the mid-80s under partly cloudy skies.
TONIGHT: A sprinkle or two will be possible this evening, otherwise just partly cloudy skies and a low in the 60s and 70s is expected.
EXTENDED: This has us warmer and somewhat muggy to start Saturday. Chances for showers and storms arrive by 5-7 a.m. near HWY 65 and will linger in the region through the morning, bringing rain chances to Columbia and Jefferson City by noon. We'll be mostly Dry and warm on Sunday. Highs are in the 80s Saturday, but return to 90s on Sunday. Daily 90s return each day next week, with some humidity. We'll likely be mostly dry Monday, with rain chances returning midweek.
