RECALL ROUNDUP: Baby formula, Ford and Mazda vehicles recalled

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Perrigo Company baby formula

The Food and Drug Administration has issued a recall of baby formula made by Perrigo Company.

Nearly 17,000 cans of Premium Infant Formula with Iron Milk-Based Powder were recalled. The FDA says the affected cans may have more vitamin D than the maximum level allowed.

The affected cans were sold at CVS stores in several states including Missouri and have a use-by date of Nov. 11, 2025, which can be found on the bottom of the product. Anyone with the formula is urged to stop using it immediately and contact Perrigo Company with questions.

According to the FDA, most infants that consume the affected product for a short period are unlikely to have adverse health implications.

Ford and Mazda vehicle recall

A defective airbag has prompted Ford and Mazda to issue do-not-drive alerts for more than 457,000 vehicles.

The automakers issued the alerts for owners who did not have their vehicles fixed after several Takata airbag recalls.

Ford has recalled over 374,000 vehicles:

  • 2004-2006 Ford Ranger trucks

  • 2006-2012 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, Lincoln MKZ / Zephyr vehicles
  • 2007-2010 Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX vehicles

Mazda has recalled nearly 83,000 vehicles:

Both companies say owners affected by the recall can get the airbag fixed or replaced for free.
