Mizzou fall sport coaches and athletes preview the 2024 season

It's official: Mizzou sports are back.

The 2024 fall sports slate will all kickoff on Thursday when Tiger soccer hosts Missouri State in the first regular-season game for any MU team this fall sports season. After that, though, the flood gates will open. MU volleyball hosts its black and gold scrimmage on Sunday and cross country will get into the thick of training camp in preparation for the team's first meet on Aug. 30.

On Monday, coaches and athletes from the Mizzou soccer, volleyball and cross country teams met with the media to preview the upcoming 2024 campaign.

Soccer will get going first, as head coach Stefanie Golan will begin her fourth season at the helm of the program. You can watch the full press conference with Golan, as well as two of her star players, in the video players below.

On Sunday, Aug. 18 at 1 p.m. the MU volleyball team will invite fans to watch the annual black and gold scrimmage at the Hearnes Center. The event will mark the start of year two under head coach Dawn Sullivan, as she will look to follow up a very successful first season in Columbia.

Last but not least, the cross country team will start up the 2024 season on Aug. 30 when the program will host the Mizzou XC Opener at the Gans Creek Cross Country Course in Columbia.

It will be year two for head coach Kyle Levermore at the helm of this Tiger program. You can watch the full press conference with him, as well as two of his runners, in the video players below.
