Multiple people injured after vehicle crashes into pole in Columbia Saturday night

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Multiple people were injured after a vehicle hit a pole in Columbia Saturday night, according to the Columbia Police Department.

Sgt. Ray with CPD said multiple passengers in the vehicle, including some children were injured in the crash near North Creasy Springs Road and West Texas Avenue around 8:40 p.m. Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Columbia Fire Department, Skyler Clark said crews were dispatched to a vehicle collision at 8:42 p.m. Clark said there were multiple people with non life-threatening injuries.

Crews left the scene at 9:30 p.m. according to Clark.

An ABC 17 News reporter on scene saw multiple CPD vehicles, CFD trucks and damage to the front side of a vehicle and electric light pole.
