The Callaway County Sheriff's Office confirmed Saturday that the suspect who fled the scene of a shots fired incident in Callaway County Friday night was found.
The Callaway County Sheriff's Office identified the man as Shannon Frady, 32. Frady was charged with unlawful use of a weapon, armed criminal action, domestic assault in the third degree and two counts of domestic assault in the second degree.
Frady was booked into the Callaway County jail on no bond.
According to a Facebook post from the department, around 7:00 a.m. Saturday police found the suspect at Paradise Lakes and took him into custody.
At 3:28 a.m., authorities were unable to locate the suspect. After obtaining a search warrant, deputies discovered several firearms at the suspect's residence.
Officials urged residents in the area to contact 911 if they saw any suspicious activity, as it was unknown whether the suspect was armed.
The sheriff's office reported that two people suffered serious injuries, though not from gunfire. Law enforcement evacuated the victims from the scene. A special response team equipped with an armored vehicle was on the scene, according to the sheriff's office.
“Anyone near Paradise Lakes should lock their doors and vehicles and report any suspicious activity to law enforcement via 911,” the statement said. “This is still an active scene, and no further information is available at this time.”
The Fulton Police Department, Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, and Missouri State Highway Patrol assisted with the situation.
