Tracking limited rain chances through the weekend and warmer air next week

TODAY: Thursday is another warm and muggy day, with highs in the upper 80s, but feeling like low 90s. An isolated storm or two is possible, but we're mostly dry.

TONIGHT: Temperatures fall into the 60s under mostly clear skies.

EXTENDED: Friday brings another mostly dry day with a chance for pop up storms and a high in the upper 80s. An upper low rolls in Friday night into Saturday, bringing more moisture and slightly better chances for scattered showers and storms on Saturday. Still, plenty of dry time is expected, especially early in the day. Highs on Saturday will be in the mid-80s. On Sunday, the rain chance shifts east, but isolated storms cannot be ruled out, with highs reaching a little higher to near 90. We'll likely hit 90 Monday through next week as upper level ridging brings a heat dome near from the west. On the edge of this ridge, we may catch a few passing storms, so we'll keep low chances for rain in the forecast. The main focus of next week for now will be highs in the 90s each day.
