Vice President Kamala Harris wasted no time getting her presidential campaign off the ground.

Just a day after President Joe Biden announced he would not accept the Democratic nomination for president, Harris' campaign announced more than $80 million in fundraising. Harris also held her first campaign event Monday afternoon.

A survey of Democratic delegates by The Associated Press also shows major support for Harris.
