78-year-old man drowns at Lake of the Ozarks

CAMDEN COUNTY, Mo. (KMIZ)

A 78-year-old man from Ontario, Canada, was found dead Friday evening at the Lake of the Ozarks, according to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report.

The report states that at 6:56 p.m., Lawrence Moore suffered a possible medical emergency and went into the water from a dock at the 45-mile mark of the Osage Arm.

He was found a short time later and was pronounced dead at the scene at 8:59 p.m., according to the report. He was brought to Kidwell-Garber Funeral Home in Versailles.
