Tracking isolated storms before dangerous heat beginning Sunday
TONIGHT: Isolated showers and storms remain possible with most of Mid-Missouri staying completely dry. Overnight lows cool to the lower 70s with winds out of the south at 5-10 mph.
TOMORROW: Isolated showers and storms remain possible with most of Mid-Missouri remaining dry once again. Areas that see storms can still expect plenty of dry time during the day. Highs rise into the lower 90s with the feels temperature closer to 101 degrees.
EXTENDED: A Weather Alert Day has been issued from Sunday lasting through Tuesday as highs increase into the mid-90s and the heat index breaks pass the 105 degree mark each day. Skies remain mostly sunny until late evening storms Tuesday becoming more widespread by Wednesday. This will look to cool temperatures into the second half of the week. back into the lower 80s.
