Flood Warning issued July 4 at 9:02AM CDT until July 5 at 8:00AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Moniteau Creek near Fayette affecting Howard County.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Moniteau Creek near Fayette.

* WHEN…Until tomorrow morning.

* IMPACTS…At 16.0 feet, Low-lying fields along Moniteau Creek
flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 8:30 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 13.7 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late this morning to a crest of 17.6 feet this afternoon. It
will then fall below flood stage this evening.
– Flood stage is 16.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
