Flood Warning issued June 28 at 9:52AM CDT until July 8 at 5:30AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…

Missouri River at Glasgow affecting Saline, Chariton and Howard
Counties.

Missouri River at Boonville affecting Cooper, Boone, Moniteau and
Howard Counties.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Boonville.

* WHEN…From Sunday morning to Monday, July 08.

* IMPACTS…At 21.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas along the river
flood.
At 25.0 feet, Numerous farm levees are overtopped. Flooding of
agricultural land and secondary roads occurs.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– At 9:04 AM CDT Friday the stage was 18.3 feet.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
Sunday morning to a crest of 23.8 feet Friday, July 05. It
will then fall below flood stage Sunday, July 07.
– Flood stage is 21.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
