Tracking less extreme heat after morning rain
TODAY: Wednesday's showers and storms will wrap up this morning, leaving us at least partly cloudy until the afternoon when clouds clear. We'll end the day with sunshine. Temperatures are cooler thanks to this, and a cold front pushing southeast. We'll still be humid to a degree, but avoid extreme heat, with highs in the upper 80s.
TONIGHT: Skies are clear overnight, with temperatures falling into the 60s. Low humidity has us feeling pleasant Thursday morning.
EXTENDED: Thursday we're dry, sunny, and mild with highs in the mid-to-upper 80s, feeling fairly true to temperatures. Friday brings a warm front that has us tracking more heat, humidity, and thunderstorms. This heat is short lived as we're near 90 with humidity on Saturday, feeling like mid-90s ahead of a cold front that brings storms Saturday, and a cool down on Sunday when skies are a bit clearer with rain settling likely just south of the region. Still, a chance for rain remains in our southern counties. Heat builds again, back into the mid-90s, into next week.
