Flood Warning issued June 25 at 10:17AM CDT until July 5 at 9:39AM CDT by NWS Kansas City/Pleasant Hill MO

…The National Weather Service in Pleasant Hill MO has issued a
Flood Warning for the following rivers in Missouri…Kansas…

Missouri River at Waverly affecting Saline, Lafayette and Carroll
Counties.

Missouri River at Napoleon affecting Jackson, Ray and Lafayette
Counties.

Missouri River At Miami affecting Saline, Carroll and Chariton
Counties.

Missouri River at Leavenworth affecting Platte and Leavenworth
Counties.

Missouri River at Atchison affecting Atchison, Platte and
Buchanan Counties.

Missouri River above Parkville affecting Wyandotte, Platte and
Leavenworth Counties.

.These river forecasts only include the next 24-hours of expected
rainfall. Crest timing and magnitude will likely change with
subsequent forecasts.

* WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE…Missouri River at Miami.

* WHEN…From Friday morning to Friday, July 05.

* IMPACTS…At 18.0 feet, Low-lying rural areas outside of levees
begin to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…
– There is no current observed data.
– Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage
late Friday morning to a crest of 24.7 feet Tuesday, July 02.
The river is expected to remain above flood stage through at
least July 4th.
– Flood stage is 18.0 feet.

Turn around, don’t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
