Policy: The first thing visitors see next to a picture of Beal on his website homepage are the words "Christian, conservative, constitutionalist." Those points largely sum up Beal's campaign.

Beal, who lives in the Ashland area, is a member of Attorney General Andrew Bailey's special litigation team, which Beal says allows him to work on hot-button culture war issues such as abortion and "fighting the woke agenda."

He also supports a so-called "Parents Bill of Rights" in public education and expansion of charter schools.

Donations to Beal's campaign have come mostly from private citizens but include $2,000 from the Shelter Insurance PAC and $500 from the BNSF Railway Company RailPAC Missouri.
