RECALL ROUNDUP: Chrysler vehicles, glass coffee mugs and portable chargers recalled
COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)
Chrysler, Jeep and Dodge vehicles
Chrysler has recalled more than 1 million Jeep and Dodge vehicles because of a faulty rear-view camera.
The company says a radio signal issue is preventing the rear-view image from appearing on media screens, which poses the risk of a crash.
The automaker says 19 makes and models of Jeep and Doge vehicles made between 2021 and 2023 are affected.
Chrysler says owners of the recalled vehicles will be notified by mail.
JoyJolt glass coffee mugs
MM Products has recalled about 580,000 JoyJolt glass coffee mugs.
The company says the mugs can break and crack when filled with hot liquids, which poses the risk of someone getting burned or cut.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says 103 incidents involving the recalled mugs that caused 56 injuries have been reported.
The recalled mugs were sold on JoyJolt and Amazon websites from September 2019 to May 2022 in a set of six.
Regulators say people should stop using the mugs immediately and contact MM Products for a full refund.
myCharge portable chargers
About 567,000 black all-in-one portable charges made by myCharge have been recalled.
The company says the recalled charger has two attached cables and they were recalled because the chargers can overheat while charging, posing fire and burn hazards.
The recalled chargers were sold at Costco stores nationwide and online from January 2022 to January 2023.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission says people should stop using the recalled chargers immediately and contact MM Products for a full refund.
