Tracking partly cloudy skies with chances of widespread showers and storms Friday
TODAY: Thursday we'll be partly cloudy with a high near 80. Clouds will increase in the afternoon, ahead of rain nearing to our west. We'll stay mostly dry through the evening, but a chance for showers arrives in the west near Sedalia and Marshall after sunset.
TONIGHT: Showers struggle to make it east of Booneville overnight, and we'll be mostly dry through sunrise. Temperatures are held in the 60s overnight.
EXTENDED: Rain chances grow on Friday, especially after the noon hour. We'll have widespread showers and little thunder. Temperatures will likely remain in the 70s. Saturday morning showers will begin to wrap up, and exit to the east. This leaves us dry for much of the day, especially Saturday afternoon when highs settle in the 70s. Sunday brings back 80s and sunshine. Temperatures and humidity continues to climb early next week. We'll be in the 80s through Wednesday, potentially the upper 80s by Wednesday. Through this period, we'll have more storm chances, just about each day.
