Local athletes walk away from MSHSAA Track and Field Championships with a title

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (KMIZ)

Classes one through three wrapped up the first weekend of action at the MSHSAA Track and Field Championships at Adkins Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Three Mid-Missouri athletes captured state championships in the final day of weekend one.

As teams, the Eldon Mustangs' boys and girls squads both finished as the second place teams in class three.

CLASS 1

  • Girls 4x800: 6th place - Paris (Sophia Crusha, Kaylee Johnson, Mairyn Kinnaman, Ava Crain)
  • Boys 1600 meter: 3rd place - Paris' Landen Chapman
  • Girls 3200 meter 6th place - Paris ' Mairyn Kinnaman

CLASS 2

  • Girls 4x800: 6th place - Salisbury (Lydea Britt, Tori Ricketts, Julia Sloan, Addison Schiltz)
  • Girls 4x200: 8th place - Salisbury (Lydea Britt, Addison Schiltz, Tori Ricketts, Ayla King)
  • Girls 300 meter hurdles: 1st place - Fayette's Browyn Eubanks
  • Boys 300 meter hurdles: 7th place - New Bloomfield's Jacob Fuhriman
  • Boys 110 meter hurdles: 6th place - Russellville's Keaton Schrimpf
  • Girls 110 meter hurdles: 7th place - Russellville's Karleigh Grayson
  • Boys 100 meter: 8th place - Salisbury's Brayden White
  • Girls 100 meter: 4th place - South Callaway's Reece Pahl
  • Boys 200 meter: 7th place - Salisbury's Brayden White
  • Girls 200 meter: 8th place - South Callaway's Reece Pahl
  • Girls 400 meter: 7th place - Salisbury's Lydea Britt
  • Boys high jump: 4th place - Salisbury's Cooper Francis, 5th place - Eugene's Ryder Belt, 8th place - Harrisburg's Trace Combs
  • Girls triple jump: 6th place - Salisbury's Lydia Britt
  • Boys shot put: 6th place - Fayette's Carter Vroman
  • Boys javelin throw: 8th place - Fayette's Carter Vroman

CLASS 3

  • Girls 4x800: 5th place - Blair Oaks (Ava Willson, Chelsi Forck, Emily Pickett, Clara Lackman), 8th place - Fatima (Brie Massman, Lauren Berhorst, Addison Bower, Heidi Struemph)
  • Boys 4x400: 5th place - Blair Oaks (Jaxson Engelbrecht, Phillip Boessen, Nicholas Closser, Isaac Stafford), 8th place - Moberly (Derrick Sanders, Ethan Land, Collin Knox, Tyler James)
  • Girls 4x200: 6th place - Moberly (Olivia Dunwoody, Ariyonna Gross, Zoey Hannam, Bryleigh Knox), 7th place - Centralia (Ryenn Gordon, Kaelyn Walters, Rebbeca Erisman, Shelby Lewis)
  • Boys 4x100: 3rd place - Eldon (Hugh Beanland, Andrew Beanland, Jalen Beckman, Will Richardson)
  • Boys 300 meter hurdles: 2nd place - Blair Oaks' Jaxson Engelbrecht, 3rd place - Centralia's Cayden Dunn
  • Girls 300 meter hurdles: 1st place - Boonville's Effie Morris, 2nd place - Eldon's Zoe Martonfi
  • Boys 110 meter hurdles: 5th place - Centralia's Beau Hatton

  • Girls 3200 meter: 2nd - Southern Boone's Alexandra Volkart
  • Boys 1600 meter: 5th place - Southern Boone's Brian Burns, 6th place - Eldon's Nathan Reynolds
  • Boys 800 meter: 3rd place - Fatima's Tyler Kloeppel, 6th place - Centralia's Rohan Holiman
  • Boys 400 meter: 7th place - Montgomery County's Jacer Brower
  • Girls 400 meter: 5th place - Centralia's Shelby Lewis
  • Girls 200 meter: 3rd place - Hallsville's Marissa Austene, 8th place - Centralia's Shelby Lewis
  • Boys 100 meter: 6th place - Eldon's Andrew Beanland
  • Girls 100 meter: 5th place - Hallsville's Marissa Austene
  • Girls discus: 6th place - Moberly's Taylor Martin
  • Girls triple jump: 4th place - Hallsville's Marissa Austene, 5th place - Moberly's Bryleigh Knox
  • Girls pole vault: tied-7th place - Montgomery County's El Reagan
  • Boys javelin throw: 2nd place - Montgomery County's Weston Marshall, 8th place - North Callaway's Isiah Craighead
  • Boys shot put: 1st place - Southern Boone's Aiden McDaniel, 8th place - Boonville's Braylon Ellison
  • Boys long jump: 2nd place - Montgomery County's Tyler Erwin, 7th place - Blair Oaks' Tomas Gonzalez
