Tracking warm weather and an active pattern ahead
TONIGHT: I'm tracking a very low chance (15-20%) for an isolated storm to occur in central Missouri. The majority of the area can expect settled weather and temperatures cooling off into the mid 60s by the end of the night.
TOMORROW: I'm tracking sunshine throughout the day for most, but another low chance (15-30%) for an isolated storm north of I-70 is present during the afternoon hours. Still, the majority of the area can expect dry conditions and temperatures warming up into the upper 80s.
EXTENDED: I'm tracking more widespread rainfall approaching from western Missouri during the early morning hours Monday. This could bring stronger storms into our western counties through the later morning and early afternoon hours, but better chances for strong to potentially severe storms arrive Tuesday. On Tuesday, temperatures will warm up into the upper 80s once again before a line of storms arrive across in our western and central counties in the afternoon hours. This will last throughout the evening, and do have the potential to be severe (large hail and winds being the main concern). Make sure to stay up to date with the ABC 17 Stormtrack Weather Team as this day approaches. Multiple rounds of storms are expected throughout the rest of the week, with high 70s and low 80s expected in this period as well.
