Tracking isolated storms heading into the weekend

THIS AFTERNOON: A few pop-up showers and storms are possible this afternoon but most of the region should remain dry. Highs will hover around the 80-degree mark.

TONIGHT: Skies clear out tonight with temperatures remaining mild in the 60s.

EXTENDED: Saturday will be even warmer in the low 80s with winds pulled in from the south ahead of a weak cold front. This may bring a few showers in by late Saturday from the west but our rain chances locally are very low. Sunday keeps warming as highs could flirt with 90 and we will be fully dry that day. Rain chances return early Monday but above-average warmth is expected to continue. This could fuel better storm chances on Tuesday as we are tracking the potential for stronger storms.
