A former Camden County deputy and school resource officer is facing more federal child pornography charges.

Darrin Skinner, 49, of Camdenton, was indicted on Tuesday with distributing child pornography, receiving child pornography and child porn possession. He is still being held at the Camden County Jail without bond.

Skinner is still charged in Missouri with two counts of child porn possession, six counts of second-degree promoting child porn and six counts of first-degree promoting child porn.  A pretrial conference was scheduled in Camden County for 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 4. A jury trial is set for 9 a.m. Monday, Dec. 9. A hearing in the federal case has not been set.

Skinner’s peace officer’s license was permanently surrendered, according to previous reporting.

According to previous reporting, court documents say that Skinner uploaded child porn to the social media website MeWE from Oct. 2, 2020-June 28 2022. Skinner allegedly admitted to owning the social media account and receiving child pornography, but denied sending any, court documents say.
