Tracking rain returning by late Mother’s Day

TODAY: Mother's Day will start off pleasant with temperatures warming to around 80 degrees with mostly sunny skies. Isolated showers will track in from the west this evening and become more widespread into the overnight.

TOMORROW: The Monday morning commute will feature showers and rumbles of thunder that persist into the afternoon. Temperatures will remain mild in the 60s to low 70s during the day.

EXTENDED: Rain is expected to track out by Tuesday morning with 1-2" of total rainfall across the region. A period of dry time is expected on Wednesday with more sunshine and temperatures warming up into the upper 70s before more rain chances return Wednesday night. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to last into the beginning of the weekend.
