QUESTION OF THE DAY: Should Israel continue its Rafah operation?
The Israeli military has made its way into the southern Gaza Strip city of Rafah.
Israeli tanks were seen seizing a border crossing in the city Tuesday. Rafah has become home to hundreds of thousands of refugees who have fled fighting in other parts of Gaza, raising fears that combat in the city could lead to skyrocketing civilian casualties.
Necessities such as food and water would likely become more scarce amid combat, as well.
